I think I'm going to view the highest rated ecchi of all time next. The sexual situations/humor and fanservice can be pretty amusing if done right. Anyone who's bothered by what they interpret as the objectification and demeaning of women can go suck a dick.
While I don't enjoy watching anime, this is why I respect it. It presents women the way they are (or at least, should be): as objects. Fuck, I love Japan. Sometimes I think if I got into anime when I was younger, I'd become a full on weaboo and be living in Japan already.

Literal female kids yeah. My favourite age bracket is probably between 8 and 12. Also, i don't understand guys being attracted to other guys at all and i don't mean to say you're gay but do you understand how that works? I don't. In general the more adorable a girl looks the more i like her, it's like somewhere down the line(Around puberty i'd say) natural paternal instinct got cross-wired with eros for some reason. That is not to say i can't like women my age but only if they are petite and have particularly youthful features. Like Lauren Mayberry.

If pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder so are all other deviant sexual preferences including homosexuality. I don't think homosexuality is a psychiatric disorder and i don't think pedo/hebephilia is either. Also don't say 'but muh DSM V', because the DSM had homosexuality classified as a disorder as well not that long ago, which thankfully, has since been rectified. -

The distinction most relevant to this conversation, I think, is that pedophilia is officially considered to be a psychiatric disorder and homosexuality is not.If pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder so are all other deviant sexual preferences including homosexuality.

Something you seem to be forgetting is that whether we decide to classify these irregular mental and behavioral patterns as "disorders" or not, they are still caused by irregularities in a persons brain. It's not a behavior pattern a person is magically freely choosing to have. And whether you personally consider yourself to be suffering an illness or not, the world has classified it as one. I'm not saying it's right, I mean, maybe you're right about it, maybe in a few years things will change and pedophiles won't be treated like criminals. But if you want to change the world you have to convince people to change their minds. Some serial killers may have a psychological urge to murder people. Some might not even consider them to be truly responsible for their crimes, rather they were driven to commit their crimes due to irregularities in their brains. But it is still our responsibility to separate these individuals from the general population due to the danger they pose to other people. Right now the world classifies pedophilia as something more similar to this than homosexuality. What is your argument that they are wrong? -

In men its broad shoulders and hair and power, etc. In women, wide hips, big tittays, etc. There is nothing fertile about children and so I can't see why you'd want to mate with one. I don't know, I can understand the weird wiring of foot fetishes, I can see why people would be attracted to lard buckets because of overcompensation of fertile features, I can see why BDSM and losing control is popular.
But this isn't a fetish, it's a sexual orientation. Why and how is this such a widespread phenomenon? You said you thought it was some cross-wiring between the erotic and parental, but how does this even happen? I wonder if there's been any research done but I'm procrastinating enough as is by posting here. -

thats not the only reason. I think for me I just become more attracted to older ages as I age and I don't really lose attraction to anything I was originally attracted to in the first place. I have always tried to look up girls dresses, nothing has ever changed except I find more mature women appealing.
But if I'm already into MILF and beyond at my young age, what the fuck happens in another 20 years?, aliens?, robots?.

It's obviously complicated. With all due respect, sophie has presented enough of an argument throughout the course of my time knowing him and along with his general maturity and intellect to give me a different insight into basic pedophilia, separate I suppose from the masses who literally want any and all pedophiles castrated, hung, shot, burned, etc. There's a lot to it and I've addressed a little bit about it in the past as far as my own opinions on it but essentially what it boils down to me is is ACTIONS vsu DESIRES and then as has been discussed what is acceptable to the masses and what could become acceptable. I still am not in any way advocating for pedophilia or suggesting that it's RIGHT and I think that having that 'diagnosis' or whatever you wanna call it is undesirable and if given a choice, aka for example when you turn 18 or some shit you could literally decide - do you wish to continue being attracted to pre-pubescent children or not- people would more or less choose NOT, if it's a desire, wired into the mind, I cannot fault a person for that. What I can fault them for is actions that harm another person physically, psychologically, or emotionally, whether its the perpetrator's intentions or not.
