    Not so, because that would leave the state open to lawsuit liability. The law stipulates that no matter what punishment the government hands out, or lack thereof, they are still legally required to alert the public to the presence of the sex offender. SB is a sex offender. Period. End of story.

    Not if the record is cleared. The whole idea behind that is to remove the 'stain' that it was, AS IF IT DIDN'T HAPPEN. They're no longer considered guilty.

    If they clear it, the person no longer would have to register, considering they are no longer deemed to be a sex offender, per the courts.

    Like I said, reference me a legal source saying otherwise. I really don't think you can.
