I don't think there would be a case where someone gets their record cleared, expunged, whatever, and still remains on the sex offender registry.
If you can show me an example I would be very surprised.
You could get put on a sex offender registry for pissing in an alley, I would imagine that maybe you could get a pardon for that? -
