Facebook's issue is it claims to be non political and non involving while Zuckerberg meets with world leaders and has a clear political agenda. Are they legally allowed to do whatever? Yes, as a private entity they can. Do i think they should be allowed to? No. Do i think its moral? No.

Before Reagan, News stations were held to a certain objectivity. He repealed these 'censorship laws' and the media quickly began to polarize, dragging the American people with it. And even still, Facebook is not technically media. They're a host and thus 'not liable' for their content, while still retaining the right to curate it however they want just like traditional media formats.

In short, Facebook should burn to the ground along with everyone who uses it.

Well I wouldn’t say they’re “not liable” for content, across the board. I believe the recently passed SESTA act can hold them accountable for their users’ content but only within the context of sex trafficking. Which is a law I disagree with personally. I think there’s a balance somewhere and we haven’t reached it yet

The Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act and Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act are the U.S. Senate and House bills that as the FOSTA-SESTA package became law on April 11, 2018

  10. If I made a youtube video of myself punching a cardboard black man I would be banned.

If I posted a clip from a movie where a cardboard black man gets shot, totally fine.

One is a picture on cardboard

The other is a picture on screen

If they had filmed the screen instead of taking the footage directly from the editing software, would that change things for you?

Why don't you both say this around women and see what they say

    OH WAIT

They already know about me. It's not a crime to wish someone was dead. It's only a crime to say I'm gonna do it. Which I'm not. That's totally illegal. I would never say something like that. Absolutely not.

Cardboard is not a medium for media. It's a communication like a sign, totally different from media.

Like I said it allows for website owners to be held responsible for their users’ content, BUT ONLY as it relates to sex trafficking.

Example: a user on Facebook advertises prostitution. The prostitutes are sex slaves trafficked from foreign nations. Facebook is in charge of moderating such content, BUT it falls through the cracks and the crime is enabled via the use of Facebook. The victims are eventually set free and file charges against Facebook. Facebook is liable for its users’ sex trafficking.

This was big news a couple years ago how have you not heard of this

What if you take apart the folded inside and just use the paper outside

    Like you know

    A newspaper
  19. Craigslist shut down their personals section over SESTA. Not just “sex” related personals, all the personals ads.

Newspapers are published. Cardboard cut outs don't have publishers so they are not media. You could publish a cardboard cutout though but that would be retarded.
