    my uncle was a doctor when I was a kid and gave me a tetanus booster after I stepped on a rusty nail in the back yard, I jerked when I felt it and it poked me in the bone, made the whole thing about 100x worse and probably why I really dislike needles to this day

    They're a means to an end. I have inch and a half needles at the moment (asked for one inch) and I pray that I don't either hit my bone or worse yet have the needle snap off inside of me. Could be really bad, Test takes at least 30 second to get a ml in with a 25gauge even, which isn't huge but nothing to scoff at either. You have to press hard on the plunger to get it to go in which puts a lot of tension on the needle.
