Making me feel bad and chit for not being vegan and I hate that chit

Sounds like a shitty friend if she can't be real about her food.
I have a vegetarian friend and also my sister is vegetarian, and I'm able to be pretty open when their stuff isn't good. They both accept meat will always taste better than fake meat but choose to just suffer for moral reasons. Its commendable.
Best fake meats are the chicken ones, because chicken is so flavorless nowadays all it is is spices anyway. Pretty easy to replicate that. -
2019-09-25 at 2:21 PM UTCYeah, I guess chickens aren't the same as they were in 2005 §m£ÂgØL...

I'm talking about early 1900's chickens, retard. That is when we started breeding for bulk birds which grow up faster. Chickens nowadays have more omega-6s and less ALA and DHA, less antioxidants like gluithone, and some other shit I can't remember. But nutrition = flavor in plants and animals. There have been studies done on this since the 40's and 50's. If you look at old recipes for chicken they barely flavored them with anything other than salt and pepper. Spices were used for pork and beef, but not chicken, because the chicken was considered to have a great flavor all on its own.
This shit would be obvious if you had ever had any sort of pasture fed or heritage meat. But you probably eat absolute garbage so this doesn't effect you anyway, and you are perfectly happy to have your tastebuds twisted, manipulated, and raped by the modern food industry. -

How many chickens from 1900 have you eaten, sir? I'm sure the chickens in 3rd world countries haven't been bred differently, so go over there and tell me how much better they taste, sir. They didn't spice them because they didn't have spices on hand that we use for chickens and it wasn't the norm yet sir.
My dad is a farmer, all the meat in my freezer is his butchered beef ma'am. I've eaten 2 of the best steakhouses in the country, sir.
Why do you make so many assumptions, does that really help you in life to be so close minded? -
2019-09-26 at 3:48 AM UTCIt's just American chickens
i've killed my own chickens before and they were fat as fuck and tasted amazing -

Actually, there rest is a huge difference in taste between broiler chicken and country chicken is MASSIVE. Broiler chicken is really easy to cut cleanly at the joints, not sinewy or tough at all. Country chickens are sinewy, have twisted and knotted muscles near their joints and are tougher, making them harder to cook down.
However IMO it tastes incomparably more delicious than broiler chicken. -

2019-09-26 at 10:56 AM UTCDietPiano is a retard who hasn't done his chicken research and apparently never left America.
And they did have the stuff to spice them. Like I said, other recipes from the 1700s and 1800s did spice other meat. Just not chickens. Obviously not everyone could afford to use tons of spices (though the trade has long existed) but I'm talking classy french cook books and shit. -
2019-09-26 at 11 AM UTCWhy did the little puppy cross the road ? Because he wanted a treat ? Because he wanted his skull to be crushed by that olive green Ford F150? Because he was a bad boy?
Or maybe because HE just saw a THING /
