It was about as good as it could've been. Awkwardness is unavoidable in those situations but my family is pretty accepting of those things. It probably helps that I'm bisexual so my dad can still point out all the hot girls in public. Nothing really changed.
I have some friends who don't know but it's mostly because I don't care enough to tell them. Like if it doesn't come up naturally why even bother? I wouldn't start a conversation by telling people I know how to play the harmonica, so why would I start one with my friends about how gay I am? The ones who stick around usually figure it out eventually.
Most annoying thing is when people try to constantly hook me up with their 'gay friend.' Like man, just because he likes dicks too doesn't mean we have anything in common. Actually I've been a lot less bitter lately. I have a pretty decent job now, and, besides being unable to afford to live (in a decent two bedroom one occupant apartment) in the city in which I work, I feel a lot more integrated into the global economy. The shekels are building up in my bank and my CV is gaining hot new lines every week.
Oh I'm an incel? No asshole to fuck? That must be why I'm so bitter, huh?
Cos I've got no previous experience of being an incel in the past, huh? -
