At my work I'm going to have to try to get some decent wifi sorted for our floor. Our current wifi is provided by our parent organisation, and isn't at all fit for purpose - it all passes through a proxy server that is shit and that replaces https certs. Shitty stuff. -

We actually do use wifi hotspot units to get internet.
On my phone tethering (wifi or bluetooth, possibly also USB) doesn't work on my current provider and price plan due to a problem relating to APN selction with Xiaomi firmware on Vodafone. Basically Xiaomi always chooses hs.vodafone.XXX while I have internet access on live.vodafone.XXX
Plus I shouldn't have to tether to mobile broadband just to access the likes of youtube, or a cp that works on a non-standard port.
