The Retarded Thread: Malice Metro Edition

  1. Gabapentin is ok for nerve pain. I'd like to switch to Lyrica not just because it may or not feel nicer, but because the doses are like 3x less by weight so it doesn't go so hard on your kidneys. It's basically like adding 2.7grams of salt to my diet, which is fine for a physically healthy 22 year old (god I can't believe I'm 22 already) but doing that long term isn't the greatest, especially given how many other pills I take in a day. 600 lyrica would be better in that regard.

Really don’t wanna go through the herky jerkies though.

Yurrrrrp. Down from 165. Didn't help that I was smoking between 2-4 grams and banging a half gram or so every day. I'm feeling good enough that I asked to start going down 5mg a week, but they maxed it at 4. And that doesn't even seem fast enough for me. I'd rather go down fast now, and then a bit slower when it gets to below 30 mg.

The prospect of dealing with this shit for another 6 months even, just makes me tired. If there's no better way to do it that minimizes discomfort, then it is what it is. But I swear, on the couple days a week where I have to actually go in and dose in front of the nurse, 122mg make sure me feel like a boxer who's been punched in the head. An hour after dose, I'm just out like a light. I CAN function if I have to, but I'm so tired and dizzy it's just uncomfortable. I feel like I'm on way to high a dose. I definitely needed to be on a high dose back then- the cravings and anxiety didn't subside until 140mg or so. But now it just feels like overkill. Idk if that's a good or bad thing.

Car's back with no structural damage, all alcohol and drugs have been removed from the premises, tornadoes are inbound, and I turned one of my bent rims into a true spare tire, no more of this "donut" horse shit

  9. Do credit card companies generally prefer their clients to pay their full balance every month?
  10. I'm gonna get medical assistance pretty soon because I lied about my income (it's variable because my wage depends upon what time of day and day of week I'm working among other things) so pretty soon the gov't taxpayers are gonna be footing the entire bill for my prescriptions lmao.

Thinking about asking for a biologic migraine med in part because they ungodly expensive.

No, they hate it, but you should do it anyway

  13. What about lying on your income and assets to get a better card?

it's better for your credit rating but they make less money off of you if you're not paying their ridiculous interest fees

Someone told me if you pay it off fully, it doesn't boost your credit score as much, because essentially you're not paying interest on anything. Being able to pay that interest (apparently) indicates that you're able to manage the responsibility of credit, without just paying off things sporadically in chunks when you have the money.

Who knows though. There's so much conflicting info. But my score went from nada to 765 in a year.

That reminds me I need to call today to have my limit extended. You want to keep your credit utilization percentage under 50%, and I'm tired of having to go to the ATM and put cash in my checking account to pay my credit card bill every time I drop a few hundred bucks on some shit I absolutely don't need. A 2500 limit should have me comfortable for a bit.most I ever spend at once is 700 or 800.
  17. i don't think that's true. I think always paying it off raises it the most.

I always use credit cards to buy things whenever possible for the cash back and credit boost. I only use my debit card for the parking meters that refuse to accept my credit cards for some reason, and to buy bitcoin because my credit cards decline the transactions. Using a debit card is literally missing out on free money.
  18. yummy yummy yummy i got love in my tummy and i feel like seizing up

Ditto. I get 2% cash back, and then an extra 5% cash back on different types of stuff through the year. Right now it's groceries and gas stations. And then there's special offers thru the CC like when I rent movies at Redbox, I get 20% back of Uber Cash. If it's something you're gonna do anyway, then why not? The other day I randomly saw that I'd accrued $42 in Uber cash, so iidnt have to pay for rides for the first part of the week.

And then through my acorn savings account, I save 50 cents on every Uber ride. So since I take at least 4 rides a day, that's $2 every day. If you use Samsung Pay, you get discounts on shit. Saved 8% last time I went to O'Reilly Auto, just for using that that shit.

A cloudy dome instead a home
Where no one can come and no one can go
Written in the bark and painted on the walls
The words drips off and into my skull

And holding my hands is like thinking I'm mine
If I don't notice it I can pretend that I'm fine

    A glassblower's shadow, a canvas ethereal
Sextuplets of carbons imposed on fundamental quadrants
Strobing, humming, reverb for blue giants

Encompass the respiration, of a chambered heart
An end to a start and do we know where we are?

I stand my ground, the surroundings my crown
Poorly defined once I lay down

    and it's
Something else, something true, it will
be just beyond, a trail left for clues

    A body a temple, a cage, a puppet
The soul connects to the machinery's sockets

And what may decay and transfer to bloom is
Not something U know to pause and resume

    Drifting to stations,awaiting extinction
Survival is essential, a fuel of premonition
Has the ego and drive simply lost ambition?
So we no longer see need in synchronization
But only our palate and preservation

A cog out of place for the whole living race
A face makes a case when the lives lay to waste
    Insidious mutations, paranoiac relations for
A dozen deaf ears and empty conversations
    -- Good.

Why must I wait? To exit this state?
If I was only a feather would I carry such weight?
To mate and propagate, to blame the irate
I now I'm too early or too late
    --

Inside a core, with striking desire
To find fantasy, and trust my own choir
In isolation, anomie, of chances so coldly
I perch from a pier where nothing can hold me
