Still works in the 40s and 50s too. Just the guys buying the drinks are older...the age demographics of the sexes increase at an equal rate. Seems to be your more likely to find older people in bars than young people these days anyway. -

It doesn't have to be a choice benny...it's just that the lower grade meat is cheaper and more readily available.
The 19yr old woman would be a high dollar prime cut steak, the 50yr old woman would be the 73/17 walmart burger on 50% off discount because it's close to it's sellby date...the shopper can still have both if he's prepared to pay the price. -
