Bacon wasn’t a her. He was “MasterofBacon”. I didn’t know him well at all. He was there long before me, he seemed kinda dark, but was well liked from what I could see. I don’t think I ever quoted him or even spoke to him. DH had a huge enough user base that most people found their forum sub set and posted there. I posted mostly in DGD (dating general discussion), there was also GD (general discussion), S&DC(sex and dating chat), S&D (sex and dating), and intros were the busiest forums from what I remember. There were also groups like 40s, 50s, and state chat groups. You could post there for years and never even know of people from other forums, except cupocrap. She’d post everywhere and flush the whole front page with stupid sparkly pics. I don’t think she got away with it in the sex and dating forums, but I was rarely there.

Master from as long as I could remember had his location set to someplace in Europe. So I never really thought he would show up in Ohio and meet several posters (one who actually posts here somewhat regularly) It was a pretty awesome thing to do .. the cause that brought those posters together anyway ..
It’s sad though, it seemed once longtime poster pals or whatever actually met .. they always seemed to drift apart.
The only time I really ever saw this not be the case was when the 30’s and 40’s groups were thriving. There were a ton of meet ups but after the flood of troll PI being posted by the thousands in one night .. in 2013, everything about DH changed forever.
When master opened a site I thought for sure it would succeed. It was really disappointing to find it didn’t.
