Quitting my job tonight. Need to decide if I'm giving 2 weeks notice or effective immediately. I've been there 2 yrs.
I don't really think it'll matter as far as a reference for a new job since I'm going into welding, and I don't expect those companies to be so picky about new hires. More worried about if it would hurt my chances of a white collar job down the line.
I want to quit today though because I might snap next week if I don't. That was my withdrawal job, where I could be a "mean, evil person" as I overheard one of the nurses say, and generally be a prick at a job I couldn't get fired from. I do not want to go through a week of fake "we'll miss you's". None of us wants me to be there another minute.
