I'm wondering if the withdrawal has lowered the threshold for a "qualifying event" to bring out a dormant case of some kind of manic disorder, or if this is temporary as mania is a rare, but recorded side effect of benzo withdrawal. I read that cycling moods multiple times per day isn't common for bipolar, and it's debateable whether it's even possible for cycles to be that short. My pain is mostly gone though, so that's nice.
