Yes but in my scenario they can't prove anything one way or another. I'm not confessing to a crime someone else committed, but one that never happened. No evidence no names no shit. I just say "I definitely murdered someone earlier." Nothing else.
I'm thinking the answer is likely gonna be no, they couldn't arrest you for it or very likely wouldn't. Still didn't formally look it up yet just goin off of vibez and deez here thread replybz. -

grew up in a midwest shit town
one of the local hobos would wait until the weather started to turn cold, then do something that was just enough to get locked up for most of the winter
the cops knew what he was doing and expected it. i figure they probably had him clean the jail or something -
2018-06-06 at 5:23 AM UTCIt’s what I would do if I was homeless lol

Depending on how you phrase it and how much "thought" was put into it they might be able to give you a conspiracy to commmit murder charge. But if you're very unconvincing or they look at your story and nothing checks out you'll get a lying to the police charge and sent to a psych instituition for a short while depending on how the judge feels about your potential for danger to the community.
