That's pretty interesting, bio having the lowest isn't very surprising but EE was my guess and the fact that it's higher than CS is interesting. The material seems a lot harder to me, but then I guess Cal's CS department is world famous so they have to maintain that reputation of being challenging. Also interesting that American Studies, Media Studies, and Philosophy are in the "top" 20.What was your cumulative GPA, Lanny? What classes had the worst impact on it? (Math?)
3.7. I don't think there was any particular subject that was worse than others, just a handful of classes I got bad grades in. Not really the obvious ones either, the mandatory stats course for CS students was notoriously hard partly because CS students are just garbage statisticians and partly because the guy who taught it 90% of the time was a psychopathic Iranian dude who I think hates white people (literal quote from the first day: "In this classroom I am God") but I did pretty well because the curve. As opposed to like this wierd course called "programming methodology" which was just a hodge podge of nothing and I got a C in because I hardly showed up and there was no meaningful curve because it was so simple. -
