Have you studied antinatalism? I'd highly recommend reading "Better Never to Have Been" by David Benatar and "Essays and Aphorisms" by Arthur Schopenhauer.
This is likely the best introduction to the latter author.

Yes. It’s fucked up I know.
Even though I think everything is meaningless, if there is a god and he put a button in front of me and said that if I don’t press it I will live a normal life and eventually die naturally and my consciousness will cease to exist, or I can press it and kill every living being in the universe but I would be guaranteed to survive forever, I would press it.

You make enough to afford it, have you thought about giving transcranial magnetic stimulation a try? It's absolutely fascinating. If I was able to afford it or it was available through insurance I would do so without hesitation. You're intelligent enough to do your own research. This is nothing like standard antidepressant medications and therapy, which I consider absolute garbage (except for MAOIs, but you have to be able to handle the effect on norepinephrine, which I can't).
I’ve looked into the magnetic stimulation. It’s definitely interesting. Never tried antidepressants or therapy and never would. -

Not really, except for what you’ve written on here. I guess if I had to sum up my feelings on it, I tend to agree, UNLESS they can come up with some technological way to live forever. Even then that’s a pretty hard sell. I mean what will happen in a hundred trillion years (or WHATEVER) when the universe ends. Something for me to reflect on for sure -
2018-03-15 at 9:16 PM UTCSince I was like 12. I tried to kill myself a couple times - hanging, overdose, etc. Rope snapped, benzos and alcohol are shitty for suicide. *sigh*

2018-03-15 at 9:23 PM UTCI've never once even considered suicide my entire life. It's the furthest thing from my mind. And I've been to hell and back a few times. Suicide is for losers, which I ain't.

So you would rather live forever tormented by never ending pain and suffering? or do you think killing off the universe will make you feel better?
I kinda get what you're saying. I would totally press the button as well but i wouldn't wanna hang around for the aftermath. Being the only living thing in the universe forever seems kinda sucky. -

The first one. I'm generally against killing, but would do it for the right price. -

2018-03-15 at 11:34 PM UTCMany times. Almost every day, actually. I don't know why, my life is not bad or anything. But it all seems so pointless. Waking up seems like a chore some days.
