That isn’t true at all. I hate MFA and have never gone there for advice. I didn’t even know RepFashion was a sub. It’s about my own personal taste as well as human nature and using that understanding to recognize the general pattern in aesthetics.
How do you you know you aren’t the ones with shit taste?
I really doubt anyone here dresses well. How many here just wear blue jeans and a cheap shirt or hoodie or are into “gangsta”/nigger fashion?
Falco, post pictures or links to your ideal setup or the nicest clothes you own. You obviously aren’t going to. -
2018-02-10 at 5:46 PM UTCI wear dark jeans and single colored button ups when I'm caring about fashion. It's simple, clean, and looks good. 99% of the time I am not trying to look good, but if I was, I certainly wouldn't be wearing the monstrosities that you've posted.
You should trust the advice from we who have actual contact with humans. You'll be laughed at wearing that shit. -

Do you even coordinate your colors wearing all this fake Gucci -

I dress very simply and wear well-fitting clothes, like nice shirts and slacks, or jeans and a tee shirt. When someone who hasn't bought into gay fashion culture sees a guy wearing "streetwear", they just cringe because you look like a clown who forgot to apply makeup. The shirt you posted is a great example: you will look like you were 3D printed you with layers of Liberace's crusted cum. I guess if you're happy then you're happy though. -

§m£ÂgØL you look completely plain and unoriginal, lacking any creativity, wearing that.
Do you know what peacocking is? Flamboyant displays, although I prefer more subdued items, are effective in making females find you attractive, which is not my goal, because it signals (genetic) novelty and confidence.
Let’s do an experiment. I’m going to dress plainly this semester and during the Fall I’ll switch to designer replicas and report back on the difference in reactions.
Honestly, dark jeans and plain buttonups are your idea of dressing well. Did you learn that from your father? The office worker look. You could be wearing exact same thing decades from now. -

You will look like a retard, which is fine because you are actually a retard.

Your methodology is heavily flawed and the data yielded by the experiment cannot be used to draw any conclusions. -

This is actually the only Gucci piece I’ve seen that I would consider buying. I’m generally not a fan of Gucci, it’s too flamboyant and feels a bit tacky. It’s also probably the most famous designer brand.

Why, because it has an embroidered floral pattern around the neck? Oh no, what if the boys in the schoolyard think I’m gay? Your description of the clothes you wear suggest you’re a coward with low confidence, which I already knew, who’s too cowardly to risk standing out or try something new.
Most if the people here are too goddamn ugly for there to be any point in even trying. -

No, I'm extremely picky and want those specific items. I don't care if they're reps, they're still high quality.
Doesn't this tempt you? You should give it a try: https://www.reddit.com/r/DesignerReps/comments/7vuyqr/qc_gucci_embroidered_flower_shirt/?st=jdgxon65&sh=7a773f40
Malice, this shirt is a nightmare. If you waste your money on clothes like this, you will look like a freak. Nobody will say anything, but secretly they will think something is wrong with you. Do not wear this to college. If you bought it, don't take off the tags. -

I absolutely despise machismo culture and gender roles in general. You pathetic cowards act as if you never left middle school, still obsessed with whether other people may be gay and terrified of being seen as gay yourself. -

Give me a rational explanation of why that is.
I actually don’t necessarily like that shirt enough. There are some very nice Burberry reps available which will fulfill my long sleeve button up requirements. -

2018-02-10 at 6:10 PM UTCLet’s be honest, of course people on a community like this, who have withstood multiple migrations, been part of the community for over a decade, still post every day on a message board, aren’t going to tend to have the best fashion sense.
I, on the other hand, am different because my autistic powers allow me to attain higher levels of ability far more accurately than usual. I’m like a collection of self-improving algorithms. -

It's just too flamboyant for a university. People won't take you seriously. If you want school to go well for you, don't sabotage yourself from the outset. -

It has nothing to do with "the boys in the schoolyard thinking you're gay" it's just garish and ugly. There's a reason why people don't predominantly dress like a clown experiencing an identity crisis.Your description of the clothes you wear suggest you’re a coward with low confidence, which I already knew, who’s too cowardly to risk standing out or try something new.
You should have understood by now that your shit attempts at psychoanalysis are cringier than your actual autism itself. The fact that you need to derive your confidence from working up the courage to dress like a cockfag speaks volumes about your insecurity. -

The word "faggot" here does not mean "gay". I am actually gay and take cocks in the ass. But wearing that shirt, you will look like a faggot. -

In philosophy class I’m flat out going to tell everyone I want to dedicate my life to helping bring about the end of all life in existence by advancing anti-natalist and pro-mortalist philophy, as well as helping to advance AI if I have the ability, and that one of my dreams is to personally witness the end of the human race.
A later joke I thought of is that I never got past my chuunibyou phase, which may have sone truth to it.
Also, if anyone ever asks if I date I’m going to respond, “You have nothing to worry about, I’m a lolicon, everyone here is too old for me. -
2018-02-10 at 6:22 PM UTCRoses! There is a chain of ROSES embroidered around the neck! Look at that fagot clown!
I actually wasn’t even planing on buying it, but now I might just as one big “fuck you” to all of you and actually pull it off.
No, wait. It’s not that it looks bad, it’s just too flamboyant and somewhat off feeling for my taste. It just doesn’t suit me. -

Flamboyance is alright. Ugly/tacky/garish isn't. For example, I just went onto /r/streewear, clicked on the top posts and found this album, here are some pretty flamboyant garments that I don't think anybody would think you are a retard for wearing it, they'd think it's interesting and/or original, maybe a little too flamboyant for some but nobody think you were retarded for it:
