    Some here are done like that, but many are older houses which use PVC pipe which comes outside from the oil furnace at ground level.

    It's really easy to remember 32° as the freezing point in F, then 0 as sort of the really fucking cold mark, and 100 the real hot mark. 1-100. Easy. 212° F is boiling temps for water but that's not really that necessary to know

If I measure that same circle in mil-radians (mils for short) I can designate 6283 directions from the center of the same circle. This means that mils can identify more points if measurement than degrees in a circle.

    Now apply what I just learned you to temperature measurement.
