Are you actually racist or no?
-
2017-12-08 at 5:33 AM UTCPoll time.
I'm not racist, I just like telling racist jokes and saying nigger. Nigger. Would like to see blackface reinstated as well as white, brown, yellow, and purple face. -
2017-12-08 at 5:36 AM UTCNo not at all. I get why some people are there's definitely a reason behind it but it seems to be taught rather than an inherent trait.

2017-12-08 at 5:44 AM UTC'Racist' is a loaded word.
There are inherent, genetic differences between racial populations but cultural differences seem much more significant.
For that reason I believe its immoral to enforce different laws or policies on different population groups, but I also consider it a responsibility of immigrants and outsiders to assimilate into a host society -

What do you mean by assimilate into a host society? As far as what?
There are undeniable genetic differences between human races. You'd have to be downright retarded to deny that. That's some SJW shit. -

I'm mostly talking about immigration and the problems with the concept of 'multiculturalism'.
People who migrate into a host society should be expected to make an effort to integrate themselves; to adopt the host culture to a degree and not form enclaves that undermine the 'social fabric'.
If you're after a specific example, my father's family is Vietnamese and they migrated here to Australia after the Vietnam War. My father, aunts, uncles etc. were forced to integrate through school, but there were many people in that community (most specifically those who were older) who abjectly refused to learn or speak English and would interact only with close family groups - any time they needed to interact with someone outside the circle they'd send the kids.
Things aren't nearly as bad as they used to be, but south-east Asian and Arabic (Lebanese mostly) enclaves caused massive issues in western Sydney in the 90s for the very reason that they didn't understand or respect the host culture. Local groups ranged from indifferent to hostile to police, corruption in local government was an epidemic, there were almost parallel legal systems in operation... Things like that. There are undeniable genetic differences between human races. You'd have to be downright retarded to deny that. That's some SJW shit.
and yet videos discussing the matter get delisted on youtube... -
2017-12-08 at 6:24 AM UTCI agree. I have a lot of family who came here from Mexico and never bothered to learn English so they just stay in their small circle. I really don't get it. My dad came here and his English wasn't the best, but he learned and is now fluent. I don't even want to go on vacation in China without knowing at least some of the language. I can't imagine how anybody could stand to live somewhere and not attempt to learn the language. Such a huge economic barrier too.
Then there's the religious issues, mostly from Muslims. I haven't ever heard of it being an issue here in the states though. More where there's a max influx of refugees that can group up and start enforcing Islamic law. But that's fairly rare? I think most immigrants integrate pretty well out of a lack of choice. Especially over generations. -

2017-12-08 at 11:41 AM UTCWell we need to define racist. Usually it's understood to be either discrimination against brown people, or the humiliation such people feel for being unable to compete against lighter skinned races.
There is actually a great deal of such racism. The worst offenders tend to be the virtue signallers.
The original term of racism was a commie term and applied to people thinking of themselves in tribal terms. In the soviet union the only accepted tribe were the jedis, the rest of the population were just cattle.
Black people weren't even very much considered in this original definition. Ironically the Soviet Union wound up very racist (by this definition) after Stalin ousted the jedis from power - for instance Uzbeks would need different documentation than ethnic Russians, etc.
The retconned definition of racism is the crime of realising the psychological and physiological differences between the races, ie. Asians, Slavs, Arabs, etc. "One race the human race, etc". Everyone besides the most ideological is pretty "racist" that way. -
2017-12-08 at 1:19 PM UTCI personally don't think I am but a lot of people do think I am. This black kid i used to work with, he was 19 or so, and I remember the ceiling was leaking during a storm and I said "man this place is so ghetto" and he gave me a dirty and shook his head and some other dude noticed that and yelled out "jake things dougs racist!" And to be honest I actually was fond of jake. He has a good head on his shoulders.
I've always been a loner and and outcast so I've never had a superiority complex that belong and side with a very specific group. -

Yeah until Dan's grit truck doesn't show up and suddenly you hate white people !!! -
2017-12-08 at 1:32 PM UTCMy mom used to tell me when I was a kid to not drag my feet like a lazy nigger which I didn't think I was and I don't do now.. maybe thats why..
one time i was watching OZ and my mom said to turn it off becauses he doesn't want to see this show about dumb niggers. Which is understandable some of oz's episodes are sub-par.
My dad on the other hand I've never once heard him say anything racist and I think thats probably because he was an engineer for years at amd and you work with so many different types of people, my mom used to work for motorola where she met my dad and that was pretty much her last job back in the 80's and i remember her telling me that she doesn't like the asian women there because they would talk shit in their language to her. And I can actually see that being true, because I think an asian woman in that industry is way more likely to suck up to whyte guys and look down on the brown women that also like whytes.
But I may be wrong.
I remember my dad once telling me as a kid when I was watching basketball that most basketball players gay blacks, and I think he's actually kind of right or at least how I remember basketball being when I watched it as a kid. My dad is so much racist as much as he is a bigot towards gays and the gay then are know where near as in your face as they are now.. so I don't know.
My mom once found my shoebox of porn i printed off the internet back when i was like 14 or something and gave it to my dad and he told me I shouldn't have that stuff but he was glad that at least im not a gay. I was it was kind of embarrassing but funny now lol
but all and all my parents were just more hardcore edgelords back then and they are pretty soft now. -
