Growth hormone and testosterone production are greatly affected by sleep quality. I guess his gym time isn't totally pointless and he will see some gains at some point, but at a much slower rate than if he were sleeping well. -

i'm not sure baout growth hormone but about the testosterone ....
usually the more sleep deprived i'm the hornier i got and the more incidence of errection i experience. -

the single most important aspect of any type of physical training is sleep. sleep is more important than nutrition, supplements, and even the actual training itself. -
