Kinkou, a large fraction of the user base is just severely mentally ill. I don’t mean that as a petty insult or misuse of the term, I definitely know what mental illness is, having an absurd number of serious issues myself, which I don’t run away from, attempt to rationalize as being something else or not as serious as they are, or even feel ashamed about.
Specifically, it’s probably severe OCD. There are multiple users here who you can tell are afflicted by it and can’t control it. Generally the incredibly repetitive posters, such as Scron, bling, infinity. Even myself, it tends to be a standard part of Asperger’s. I’m aware of the special interests I develop, obsess over, and post excessively about for months, declining with time until something else encaptures me. It wouldn’t surprise me if falco had it as well, with how incredibly annoying, childish, and excessive the responses he develops to certain things are.
