Well, what exactly is it about Christianity that you believe allows you to be live a happy life? What exactly do you believe?

Also, I'm rather certain the majority of my loved ones, and most definitely my entire family, will be rotting in hell.

I don't view my religion as a delusion on any level, and neither do other sincere Christians. There are reasons why I believe what I do beyond faith, because as I'm sure we can agree, blind faith is fucking lame. I'll admit tho that if I hadn't converted I'd have gone ahead and pulled that trigger. So maybe that makes weak and unable to cope on some level, but I don't really care.

I think he undersimplified m8. The Christian reality is 'give your heart 2 Jesus get heaven forever.'

Of course, OF COURSE, every Christian will tell you it's not even about going to heaven; it's about serving God here in our time on Earth that He has given us.

"Nahh I'm not really excited about that eternal paradise deal I just want to really praise the Lord and be his humble servant. I love God sooo much that I would opt out of heaven just to worship Him here on earth. Forever."

Dargo would you go to hell voluntarily for eternity if God spoke to you and said in doing so you'd save 10 random souls from the same misfortune?

I read that as have your ever fucked a "mirror"? Which seems improbable and quite narcissistic.

    I suppose it's primarily that:

-God is in control of, well, everything. I don't have to worry about where my life is headed or how things will turn out. I just have to follow God's lead and trust he knows what he's doing.
-Letting go allows me to enjoy all the little things in life.
-My life purposeful. I have a job to do (serving God) that is greater than any other calling.
-All the shittiness will eventually come to an end. Not just when I die, but when Christ comes back and wipes everything clean for good.
-I'm freely forgiven. All the bad shit I've ever done is erased from my record and I don't have to worry about my bad deeds outweighing my good ones.
-The worst thing that could happen to me is ultimately death, which to a Christian, isn't really a punishment.

I probably missed something, but that's the gist of it.
  8. Absolute certainty is weak mindedness. That includes absolute certainty in atheism.

The Judeo-Christian God would never do such a thing, so there is really no sense in answering.

I always wondered what happens when jesus/god whoever comes and gets his chosen people and say I'm left on earth then what? Like..can I just do whatever I want then? I'm absolutely serious about this question I'm not a Christian nor an Atheist I really don't know/care enough to pick a side but this is one of those question I've always been genuinely curious about.

You mean like in Revelation? If you don't die in one of the plagues, wars, or other atrocities, you go to Judgement Day with everyone else and get thrown into hell.

Also while it's on my mind what does everyone think of using magic/demons/spirits to obtain success/wealth/whatever else? Gake and Fay? Possible but damning?

Eh. There's a chance you could be successful if you go full on 'hail Satan'. Please don't tho.

    Haha.

It's a hypothetical, dorkus. Would you or not?

I would, but considering it's an impossible request, I don't see how that proves anything - either about me or God.

You know what HYPOTHETICAL means right?

I'm bad at calling out fallacies but I think you're doing one. Lol. I'm not out to prove anything I'm just wondering what you say you would do, regardless of if God would ever ask you to d that.

Tell me, why are you so certain your god woulddl never ask you to do such a thing, especially if he had it predetermined in his plans for you, His will, your God's will. ?
