The end
The lamb wakes up from his dream. The air was cold and his blankets were hot. Why did he keep having these dreams? He was a happy lamb, a proud and esteemed herd member. He knew his baa's backwards and forwards, he knew the seasonal grazing patterns like the back of his hoof. He could, in an instant, smell the scent of an incoming shepard. He was by all means, a happy lamb. So why the dreams?
He thought, for a minute, that it might be some bad grass. But the herd had eaten the same grass he had, and none of them were up in cold sweats.
His next thought was that he'd gotten a cold. A fever, perhaps. But his snout felt fine. Not a drip to be dropped.
