Originally posted by infinityshock may as well use some duct tape and chewing gum while your at it…youll have just as much security and protection. kevlar is an aramid weave. it loses its strength after a severe impact. thats why kevlar ballistic armor has to be replaced after its hit. you dont see any other retards wearing ballistic body armor sewing their shit back together again like a retard after it takes a few rounds. only a retard would do such an idiot thing. kevlar textiles dont work like that.
i have condolences for your poorfaggotry. ill pay you a rupee to buy yourself real riding gear to suck my cock.
Believe it or not, I did not sustain gunfire while wearing this. There was no severe impact. The kevlar is in perfect condition.
I appreciate your concern for me 🥹 -

Seriously...kevlar textiles are NOT physically able to maintain its structural integrity after impacts and there is no nondestructive test to determine how much of its original. It may be 100% of its original design specs...or it may be .01%. Hell...it begins breaking down on its own if it gets too damp too often.
When I was in the military everything kevlar had a service life and at the end of it the stuff was logged as 'destroyed' and literally thrown into a trash dumpster, no matter how it looked -

Fair enough. Well, its still multiple layers and holds the D30 back plate, shoulder and forearms. Even if all of the kevlar was 100% degraded, its still better than street clothes. Looks cool and is comfortable. The majority of the damage is concentrated in that one area so even if that spot has degraded, the untouched buts should be good. In the other damaged spots it barely ripped the cotton. I feel completely fine about wearing it. I did end up buying a new helmet tho.

It's not going to do shit if you get hit by a car. And they'll just end up cutting it off you. You need a suit of steel armor. -
