As a precaution they closed Maidan, which is the national central square and main protest location in Ukraine, apparently they urgently needed to do something with the big concrete tiles there or something. The workers look like they don't even know what they are supposed to be doing.

_alushny's replacement is some Russian guy who moved to Ukraine in 1991. Everyone seems to hate him, but _elensky regards him as being unquestionable loyal.
_elensky is doing the same thing Hitler did, getting rid of the generals, like Rommel, who see war as a means to an end, want to win, and don't like taking casualties.
He's putting in people who like war just because it makes them feel important, don't care about the ultimate goals of the war, and don't give a shit how many of their own men die or why. -
