following the announcement of the US forming a 'coalition' to protect merchant shipping in the Red Sea, the Houthis have started mining the Bab el Mandeb Strait.
also, israeli merchant ships have been trying to appeal to the Chinese navy in the region to help them break through, NO DEAL. -
