turns out the hostages either escaped or had been released from custody, were shirtless and waving a white flag. IDF rolled up and immediately executed two of them before leaving the vehicle, third one ran to cover screaming that he was a hostage in Hebrew (he was alone at the time) and they chased and executed him anyway.
according to israeli TV news the IDF actually sent one of their dogs into the apartment where these guys were being held.
their dogs have videoconference gear, the hostages actually identified themselves to the IDF through the dog's camera/radio, were told to come out and got shot up anyway -
