Who's the saddest client you've had?

A middle-aged man I saw shortly after I first started practicing. He was divorced, had a gambling addiction, ton of debt, poor social skills, no friends, and was only in to see me because he got another DUI. We had a couple sessions, but he stopped coming as soon as his court-mandated time was up.
The guy seriously wouldn't work with me on anything. The first time he came in he gave a blunt account of how fucked up his life was, said there was no hope left for him, and then stopped talking. He literally sat through the rest of our sessions without a word - just looking depressed as all fuck. Wouldn't play cards or anything.

Would you like me to tell you about a client or something? Office drama?
Admittedly I haven't read as much on the subject of psychedelics as I should have, but I generally hold the same opinion on it as I do medicinal marijuana: It's shit, and there are better (or should be better) alternative forms of treatment.
Yeah I agree with the medical marijuana thing. I'm going to sound like an old man here but mostly it's a very convenient excuse to smoke pot legally and have the plug be your doctor/a cannabis dispensary. All the people thinking it's going to be some magical weed utopia are dead wrong too. I've seen the prices people pay for this shit and for what they're paying for a 2-3 grams is what I could cop an entire ounce of the same exact strain for and any criminal worth his salt would be able to as well.
I'm not hating on the plant itself I think as far as illegal drugs go it is probably the most benign and harmless "drug" there is but people take it a step too far and act as if taking three water bong rips before work is the same thing as taking as a multi vitamin and it's not. Common logic will tell you inhaling anything that harsh that is that rough on your throat and lungs clearly isn't doing any favors for your health.

Yea but smoking pot legally can be medicinal for a lot of people. The two are the same thing in a lot of circumstances. Some people need an addiction/vice to function without going a little crazy. Something they can come home to and get a buzz, and weed is a lot healthier than other drug addictions.

I'm not convinced that's true. At least in CS you can tell pretty quickly what a person's level of training is if you push on their technical opinions a bit. Yes the state of the art is publically available but I guarantee you, no one is going to put in the effort necessary to feign a qualified opinion convincingly. Malice has more spare time than like three normal humans combined to research his interests and it's still pretty obvious he has no formal training. I'm not saying citizen science isn't a thing or non-valuable, but I am saying it's distinguishable from structured education.

Dargo, you claimed in a PM that you left Russia on your own at the age of 15 and learned the language autodidact. You claimed that both your parents are dead and that you are completely happy with it because that's the way it's supposed to be. You claim to be younger than 29 and be a practicing Psychologist who has a social worker who does your paper work yet you have to do surprise drug tests. Cute.
A professianal Psychologist wouldn't ask niggasin.space what to do to help his struggling neighbor kid. Don't be silly.
Your story is full of holes and cluttered with lies. Stop fronting.
