Thankfully for your owner (and you) there's always a fresh supply of illegal immigrants in Houston that ya'll have leverage over, so they end up being the ones that stick around for a long time, do a relatively good job or better, all the while being 'underpaid'. Because of their language barriers, and their poverty -stricken home country experiences, the $13/hour, from their perspectives, is being decently paid. Your company would rarely persuade an American citizen that was born here to stick around for long for that kind of money. If no illegal immigrants were in Supply it would be more cost effective for your company to offer a higher wage at that position so you wouldn't have so much employee turnover. -

Many owners get all those homes while still being generous. The two positions / perspectives do not have to be mutually exclusive. However, it's never a good idea to reduce the dividends you pay your shareholders... so once you attain a certain amount... it has to be that amount or better going forward... or you get some really unhappy shareholders. -

Well the regular workers get paid more...they are making about $18hr...but you have to "prove" yourself to get to that level. -

She's not married, 30yrs old and still lives with her family (but then that's not uncommon for Hispanics). She used to have the hots for me..was always bringing me cakes and shit (she has a side business baking cakes etc) but I think she got tired of trying because it's rare for her to bring me baked delights anymore.
Her spinsterish nature is probably at the root of her growing disgruntlement with the world...she used to be such a nice girl...
