I always tell them...
"You know it's not all about the money, it's about the sense of self worth working a job brings you and your contribution to something bigger and better as well as the experience which can only contribute to your future career prospects...now go unblock the back restroom...someone left a 3lber in there"

ez, just keep the owner happy. I had a job like that once and worked for peanuts for years. I got a raise twice and was making less then Adyemi to start kek but that was years and years ago. I think the minimum wage there is now $2 higher than what I was making at the time
but its a cheap part of the country to live in so wages can be a bit lower
Most of these so called manager jobs have you unloading trucks, stocking shelves and checking out people. Retail jobs are usually pretty shitty.

I like unloading trucks it's the easiest job as half the job is being there essentially waiting for the cable guy, Oh he will be there 12pm-4pm
well I get paid during all that so you better believe I will be chilling from 12pm -4pm THAT TRUCK WILL BE HERE ANY MINUTE DOn"T DISTRACT ME OR I'LL MISS THE TRUCK AND WHO WILL UNLOAD IT?!?
drivers are chill and its nice when you see the same guy and I help them unstrap and stuff too so they can grab a coffee real quick, always gotta help the drivers out when you can,
TRUCKSERS

Unloading trucks by electric pallet jack doesn't count nigga...do it by hand.

I have unloaded by all methods including taking pallets off a flatbed with forklift
2023-04-04 at 1:56 PM UTC
I can operate a pallet jack if you know what I mean.

Back in the day truck drivers could get some good freebies. I worked at a clothing warehouse once and would forget an insulated Levi jacket some times in the trailer.
