whatever tiny little spot of bright light that you see thru your little eyepiece countless others have seen it, sniffed it, and fondled it with their building-sized, space-mounted, gyro-stabilized, gem stone-mirrored, REAL telescope.
enjoy bending over and looking into your what ? 2' refractor ?
while i enjoy hi-res images taken by NASA from the comfort of my sofabed.
Vinny once again revealing he knows nothing about Amateur astronomy or astrophotography, the one science where the amateur can and do make discoveries all the time.
..like this chick who discovered and had named after her a planetary nebula.

2023-01-20 at 1:51 PM UTCHere is my craziest story
I was sitting at the bottom of my driveway in my family home which is on an area with very little light pollution. I was pulling tarot cards for myself and I remember the tower was in there which scareded me. Looking back that was a time eihjt before shit got real shitty.
I saw this unidentified flying object that was basically staying hovering over my house. And when you stared at it yoi coile see it was shaped like a triangle with a concave bottom line of the triangle and lights on app three corners. It was flying in darting patterns not usually for a plane or helicopter ans then it would just stop and hover.
I wanted to have evidence so I ran inside and asked my dad to come look at it. He looked up and kind of furrowed his brow and all he said was "well thats not good" and I was like you agree it's not a normal ship and he agreed and then went back inside. I stayed for a while and tried to take pictures but cell phone cameras sucked this was probably 2010 or 11. When you expand the pictures it looks like half the face of an old man is looking at you with only one eye open. The ship stayed over an hour and I got bored so I went inside. The craziest part is I asked my dad to corporate my story to my sister. And he said "what are you talking about dear, I told you that was probably the north star." And I know when my dad was wasted not just a little drunk and he was definitely not wasted.
After researching I decided that was probably a government reverse engineered ship. But at the time I really hoped it was my star family saying they are watching over me. -

doesnt know that there are more stars amd gaylaxies and nebulaes than the sum total of all human being ever borned on this planet.
you are going to run out of names of every kind before every heavenly bodies in this universe are named.
jiggaboo thinks its a big deal to have a heavenly object named after someone.

2023-01-21 at 1:42 AM UTCMan I used to have a telescope as a kid, it really pissed me off that the viewfinder was upside down so I couldn’t spy on people
However my uncle had a short fat one but he wouldn’t let me play with it 😳 -
