  1. RIPtotse victim of incest [my adversative decurved garbo]
im saving up to buy a telescope like yours. mine are fine but are all like analog or whatever and im pretty glpd at using them now just have been busy as fuxk but this bump makes me want to take them out again fasho so ima do that real soon
  2. Be mindful of the weight etc..mines nice and all but it's an absolute pain in the ass transporting it around. I'm thinking of getting a Celestron 8SE for when I'm "going places" with it...you can pick those up relatively cheap used and they still have a lot of the features of the more expensive one.

Last weekend when I took mine out to Columbus it was 90F and seriously a pain in the ass to handle, the scope and base in it's JMI case is about 80lbs...(the dumb case is like 30lb on it's own). Really my Evolution is more for using at home than dragging around.

    $1100

You can get them cheaper than that too, I've seen them go for $800.

Classfieds section on Cloudnights.com is always worth checking

  5. why ?

your current telescopes are insufficient for you to cope with your middle age ?

This is more of a camera than a telescope...and I am lacking good astrophotoraphy equipment (which is a bottomless money pit). It's a cheap way into astrophotoraphy and extremely portable too.

i mean, yeah sure, it couldmbe fun but whats the point if your subject has been shot a million times and there are terabytes of her out there on the internet.

    not it specifically.

i knew for a fact that the image of every star you see now, tonite, is from a very long time ago.

You'd be wrong to assume that...there are about 500 stars within 50 light years from us....unless you consider 50yrs a "very long time ago".
