   I don't understand how this helps. Are we supposed to remember everyone's tripphrase, is there a list of legit tripphrases? I think posting the registration date and post count under our username would work much better.

   I thought that at first but somehow the phrases find their way into your memory.
   
   Also the first member to be impersonated was §m£ÂgØL and it apparently caused IRL drama with hydro or something

   Exactly my point, why try to remember nonsensical phrases? I'll admit the reg date won't work well because of the migration to the ISS, but along the same lines, why not use the user number as you continue to do even with the tripphrases in use? Comparing user 25 to 3302 makes a lot more sense that comparing "convolve my milanese fumaria" to "my dexterously baritone judicature" and expecting to remember which is the legit tripphrase.
