A friend of mine is very big into the game Smite, knows all the big name players and teams and watches all the tournaments. He asked if I wanted to watch part of the World Finals with him a few days ago, because I'll occasionally play a match or two of it with him. Had no fucking idea what the hell was going on 90% of the time or why the announcers would be freaking out over shit.
The people presenting/announcing etc on there were some of the cringiest waifu pillow neckbeards I've ever seen, with horribly cringe humor. -

If you watch it for a lil while you will get why.
1 great thing about CSGO is that you can immediately see the skill because it's an FPS. But more importantly you can very quickly see what an absolutely ridiculous degree of strategy, tactics and details are involved. It's gun chess.
