2017-04-17 at 12:25 AM UTCCountdown to 4/20. I have some benjies set aside just waiting for the deals.
The event at Golden Gate Park, at Hippie Hill I believe, is going to have sponsors for the first time. They granted them permits: http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/SF-signs-up-sponsors-for-4-20-weed-fest-in-Golden-11039958.php
And another livestreamed murder. Guy walks up to a nice looking old man, possibly randomly chosen, and shoots him in the head: https://www.reddit.com/r/watchpeopledie/comments/65rfqk/live_facebook_execution_in_cleveland_probably/?st=j1ldopqj&sh=920e9f54
Still ongoing, possible there may be more. -
2017-04-17 at 12:31 AM UTCI love how you ignore me. It proved me right in every aspect.

This would be the height of psychopathy and parasitism. But, if it was a good payout (I am such a modest man that as little as 1.5K per month would be enough to life what I consider a good life), mmm, the emotional equivalent of the scent of good barbecued meat being carried towards you on a warm wind during a pleasant day, rousing your desire in a manner that causes you to feel warmth expanding from the inside of your core outward towards your extremities.
It would also be relatively simple, easy to get away with. Yes, it would require some investment, you could choose someone you truly enjoy spending time with, ideally that seems eager to marry quickly. And if they planned to have children, that alone would be enough to fully justify the murder, in my view.
Yeah but you would probably have to have sex for that to work. -

Disgusting. Wouldn't watch again more than a few times. -
2017-04-17 at 1:55 AM UTCPercent of PhDs awarded to women by discipline. From 2009, though, gender ratios can become much worse surprisingly fast (I mean with the ratios increasing in favor of women. That is bad.).

Neuroscience is very disappointing, no wonder advances have been so unsatisfying. Of course we won't see a campaign aimed towards drawing more men to it. Molecular biology as well.
Amusingly, and unsurprisingly, computer science is very close to the bottom.
We could use information like this:
Papers published, enormous clear data sets on the distribution of IQ, with women becoming increasingly rarer relative to men the higher you go, and data on IQ and prestigious awards received.
This is just for PhDs overall. What I'm particularly interested in is how the ratios would change if you only looked at PHDs awarded by the top xx universities. Even at SFSU (Don't know if they offer a PhD in compsci) the percentage of women could be astonishingly low.
The inadequacy of life, the problems of imbalances, dynamics of inequality and dominance, in relationships. How rare finding a true equal realistically is for some people, leading them to be more likely to end up with the wrong person, if they ever marry or the equivalent (agreement toward long-term cohabitation, viewing them as the equivalent of a spouse without the legal status, if you don't wish to marry for whatever reason). -

You're not supposed to find an equal. Trying to compare men and women in terms of equality is like trying to compare apples to oranges. They're just different, and honestly it's better that way. -

I can't accept it. The standard gender dynamics, feminine archetype, someone who I don't truly see as an equal. And this one person, the only for the rest of your life? The thought is a horror to me.
Either be alone or be a bachelor and date throughout your life. Compromising and latching onto someone simply because they're the best you've been able to find, despite extreme flaws when viewed impartially, will lead to misery. -

you think you have a perfect understanding of social relationships despite never having one yourself. a book isnt going to express all the nuances of social interaction, and even if it did, it's not like you would interpret them correctly. if you turned your narcissism down slightly you'd realize you're the one with the developmental disorder, not the whole world around you. -

I don't think it's because their women are subservient to men. Really not a fan of many major aspects of their culture, which have been shown to have negative effects, as well. -

What, are you one of those losers that just "settled"? I really can't see why else you'd react so negatively to what I wrote. Keep telling yourself it's a wonderful fulfilling life! -
