I bought groceries at Aldi's yesterday afternoon and was very disappointed.

I had planned on making a large pot of stew/soup and picked up all the fresh veggies at the front of the store. They were out of stew meat and they were out of frozen veggies (corn, pess, green beans) so now I've got only 1/2 of the needed ingredients...and they're all the perishable ones, dammit!

I also had planned on stocking up the pantry to make chili later. They were out of canned chili hot beans. They did the same thing last year. The minute it started getting cooler, chili hot beans disappeared from the Aldi store shelves...and stayed that way all of last fucking winter! I looked every few weeks when grocery shopping and they only reappeared on the shelves in the spring when it started getting warmer.

Jiggly, are you experiencing these problems down in Houston?
