what's the last thing you bought?

A lot big box retailers are the same.

No chances here of that. You have to return it within the time limit, they check it first, then reimburse you.

You know, you could probabley buy a high end fan and buy a low end one(as long as they look similar) and then place the low end one into the box of the high end one, and return it. Not sure if its worth it though.

I can see why you got a pirate as an avatar - lol

That's how it should be imo, orchid.

I think with all the brick and morters getting taken out by online retailers, companies are forced to take a different approach to the internal client experience.

I understand the thought behind it... they don't want to lose their internal clients. How stores handle returns is probably the 2nd highest complaint companies get after client acknowledgement.

I imagine they also have a lot of work to do, and they turn a blind eye.
By the way, I was surprised the other day, cause I took the time to answer a questionare from my favorite online shopping web. It is smth I don't usually do cause they are too damn long and I never sae what was the purpose for me.

Anyway, I did it, and in the end they send me an additional 20% sale off. I was surprised, it is the first time I see that.

    That's common in the US.

How are your brick and morters doing vs online?

Stores are closing down all over the US.

    Here they are stingy. lol

Here the online are having a boom. Especially electronics, clothing and furnitures.
The ones who sell clothing have had a 25% increase in 2017. For example, my favorite one Yoox, started as a small Italian startup, and now they have their "shops" all over Europe, USA and Asia.

Well, they seem to be doing okay. Some I've seen to be sold to the chinese though.
I personally do my 90% of the shopping onlien though. I might got to actual stores once a year, for clothing. Except for a small one which is close to my appartment and they have some big brands on sale. I know the owner and she always giives me additional sale off, so I like it. I also go to Sephora every 3 months, but that's about it.

Ooh sephora. I didn't realize they were an international brand.

Gotcha. Well I do a lot of mine online too but it really hurts the stores so I try to do both.

You're right about that. I feel sorry about it too. Especially the small ones, who are artisans as well.
The truth is that I am really lazy about shopping. It sounds absurd cause I love buying books, clothes and electronics. But I hate going around and try things on.
