true. I have to register my dashcam now because of the law that you can't video tape unless the person knows it. Prior I had a sticker on my dashboard but I dont own that car now.
So I'v been doing mainly food deliveries for now. not a lot of work though. except weekends. Im gonna reg my dashcam and buy a two way (front back cam) with audio-on it and refuse to turn it off so something retarded like that never happens to me. also get a housing for it so they can't tamper with it remotely through the stupid wifi. I wish I could buy one without wifi built in but it seems they all have the damn wifi feature in them for remote security I don't need. -

eh? That breaks the first amendment. You have the right to film anything in a public place and can claim freedom of the press (anyone that can post a video on youtube can claim freedom of the press).
Pretty sure that's a bullshit law...if it was true that's a lot of CCTV cameras that are going to have to be taken down off every building in every city etc...

It's been challenged in California. Yes you can record a person voice and image. However you can no record a voice secretly without their consent but you can record silent video. However once you say "I am recording you now' they can't tell you to turn it off. they can request it but not force you (legally.. but they might smack the phone out of your hand like that black lady did with Kr0z at Jack in the Box)
this is why we have to register the serial number of our dashcam and there is a pre-warning before someone enters our car. if they didn't read it, that's on them. they can argue it but you didn't break the law.
I think it's illegal in Washington DC. Remember that lady with Monica Lewinsky that secretly recorder her saying the President dribbled DNA on her dress? that lady went to Prison. of course it was a Government Official (PotUS) but still illegal.
the reason is you might record a person talking about private issues related to legal matters. Its a stupid fucking law. I can overhear someone say this but it's "Hear say" when a person repeats it. But an Audio Device can be a permanent record and is neutral because it's not a person. -
