This place is a depressing shithole but what's the point in "leaving?" Is it taxing and draining on you? Are you heavily invested and need to pull your assets out? Just don't make a big deal out of it and don't post until you feel like it again. That seems to be the most heterosexual and authentic way to go about it.
I look at the latest threads like 5-10x a week and am hit in the stomach with a wave of depression that these are the topics being discussed. So then I sigh and don't post. Then I come back and maybe I see something funny or an adorable mmq thread. You gotta take the good with the bad, just like in everything else.

TIL that all Russian SAM complexes are able to launch against surface targets as a 'reserve function'.
It may just sound like weird trivia but back in the 08 war with Georgia a small Russian air-defence craft was able to sink a much larger missile ship by blasting it with SA-8 anti-air missiles from close range
