2020-09-10 at 4:24 PM UTCI'm getting ready to go buy a dual-flush toilet valve for my grandson's bathroom. It keeps refilling every five minutes or so. I attempted replacing only the gasket a while back but that obviously didn't work. I'm going to have to pull the damn tank.
See you tomorrow! -

If you would have taught your son how to fix his house your grandson would know how to fix his. -

stl1 is a guy whose male offspring can't even adjust a flush mechanism.
Of course stl1 is on day two and still doesn't have it fixed. Maybe when he learns how he is planning on sharing the information with his progeny. -

Noob error thinking it was the gasket, 9/10 it's the valve...and changing the value is a 15 min job that doesn't require "pulling the tank"...lollingtons. -

If it takes him an entire day to take remove and replace a toilet tank it is no wonder his offspring can't do simple things for themselves. -

You really are a dick, aren't you, Shlomo the Homo?
It's my daughter's house and she's too busy making money being a loan officer than you ever thought of making, you fucking feeble minded jackass. BTW, my grandson is three years old and the Republican wants him to be a licensed plumber. You're a fucking loser, Shlomo.
My son has a daughter and is making 6 figures as a union wheelwright (a job he was able to gt because of the skills I taught him) and my daughter makes him look poor. -

Stick to your play toys, Jiggle Booty. This is a dual FLUSH vale, not a fill valve. I already replaced the fill valve in my daughter's bathroom. The dual flush valve is mounted on a "seat" on the tank. I'm going to have to pull the tank to remove the seat that meets with the gasket I already replaced (which was advised as the first step on several internet videos I watched).
If I ever need advice about playing a child's game, I'll ask your advice, Jiggly.
Gotta go! -

Then it's not your grandsons toilet dumbass. But none of that changes the fact that you don't know how to fix it LOL. -

15 mins...I'm sure your daughter or better yet her husband can find 15 mins out of her SJW life to change a fucking valve..lolol
If she/he can't...then time management/life skill fail...probably parental fail too. -

It's like the old "give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he'll eat for the rest of his life" analogy...
Still I can see his reasoning, his family only invite him around when something needs fixing...he's a lonely old man so I get it...ahh bless the old fella, he just wants to be loved (even if it is for his inept home maintenance skills). -
