We are of the same mind Splam, I struggle with the whole concept of systemic racism because of the fact there are just as many poor whites (who were often treated as poorly as slaves), often living in the same neighborhoods suffering the same struggles. It's not skin color relative but more of an income inequity that grows larger by the day, that all colors of skin face. If you don't have money, it's hard to get the education, the hand up, etc. etc.

You are 100% right. It feels a bit like debating with a child. A giant, malevolent child who will never change its mind. And of course their mindset is firmly in control - even now.
