Lol I heard enough about stupid systemic racism in my sociology: social problems class last semester.
I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but i don't believe it's as widespread/damaging as social justice warriors claim it to be.
Look the world was never fair and will never be fair. I don't understand everyone's nobility trip and people like this dedicating their lives to "leveling the playing field" for everyone.
Sorry kids that's not how the world works. Strong people will be able to lift things better, people good at math can probably understand equations better than someone else, someone is probably good at flying a helicopter while another dude is good at diving.
My point is that everyone has to find their niche or path in life and taking all these "jobs" or "subjects" or "disciplines" and lowering the standards of work in said "job/subject/discipline" in order to level the playing field for people less qualified for whatever reason is doing nothing to this world but making us all weaker and complacent in what we view and accept as acceptable in relation to requirements for a certain "job/subject/discipline"
Its fucking sad and I wish the world would have this view. I feel like people would be happier because they would be more likely to find work that they enjoy or whatever and be pushed to work harder to achieve a goal you have in your life.
Now a days if you want in a college/job and your not quite up to snuff, just claim your trans or some shit like that and your chances to be hired will be instantly boosted because many places receive tax breaks for hiring a "diverse" workforce and employing special needs and minority employees.
Don't worry if they aren't qualified for the job that doesn't matter anymore.
I picture timmy from south park being a lifeguard and jimmy could be a marathon runner.

lol I gathered as much.
Sometimes certain comments just trigger me. Obviously post whatever you want but goddamn. I even have a black uncle myself who's cool as fuck so it kind of feels weird that people out there probably say the same thing in reference to my aunt. (Though she's not depressed and they're both quite successful) Idk but it just feels weird.
But also I've been on this site for what 6 years now so, yeah. Whatever.
