I guess that's a case by case thing. I certainly gave Chootie random scraps of stuff now and then. That's how you learn your cat likes weird shit like cheetos and pickles.
But I mean smell is the majority of what taste is so even if they arent eating the people food they still can smell that its appealing to them especially when its chicken or meat, ya feel? -

When I ate a can of dog food I was surprised how bland and tasteless it was...it smelled like shit like dog food usually does but I guess it was one of those rare occasions where the taste didn't come close to matching the smell, thankfully.
(It was either Pedigree chum or Pal...obviously it's been years).
As a side not as a young-fella-me-lad we were forced to take canned food in to school at harvest festival for distribution to local old people...I was against this practice so took a can of dog food and switch the label from a beef pie filling can...the old fucks probably made a pie with it and scoffed it down while ridiculing the young folk who gave it them for free.
That's a win to me. -

What is the cost of living like in urban areas in Canada? Google says $200 Canadian is £118. I'm a man in my 30's with a big appetite and I eat probably just under £100 a month in food. That budget gets smacked into orbit though when you factor in booze and eating out.
Things must be pricey in Canada because that budget would be manageable, if not ideal, over here. -
2020-07-01 at 3:22 PM UTCYou can buy 10 packets of RAMEN noodles at the 99C store for $1.00
So $10.00 will get you 100 packets...that's enough food for a fucking month. Let the old fucks eat ramen. -

No i dont feel, you said you feed it so it knows what that food now tastes like. Dont feed it and itll never know. Kind of like poor people who don't have TV or a computer to see rich people (think africans in the jungle) They dont know theyre poor unless they have something to compare their lives to -

Right except it's just not realistic to eat thousands of meals in front of kitty cat and never wanna give it some tastes. Jesus. And my Chootie butt never became the begging type. I just hooked her up special sometimes and she totally deserved it. She still ate her dry food happily as well. -

Or people from Bangladesh who've never seen a toilet before in their lives and are afraid of it when they finally see one. Especially when it flushes. -
