Yeah... Why are you so surprised. Many many governments are doing this. It keeps the economy from collapsing. Imagine if airlines were just allowed to go out of business due to this? Would not be good. This is exactly what taxes are for. -

Well, thats why we should've had mandatory sick days to begin with. You dont see Europeans needing to hand out stimulus packages. They were prepared for it and could afford quick action to keep everyone home. We spent a week writing this bill and if you compare to italys situation we'll be pretty fucked without a nation wide quarantine in the next week or so. Cases are expected to jump from about 2k to 20k within the next 10 days. -
