Phone broke, anyone have a recommendation for a phablet?

it can ALSO run android. how about that?

i've even heard of people dual booting.

Nigga, IT RUNS WINDOWS 10 MOBILE. You can't install normal Windows applications on it. It's a mobile OS that looks like a desktop OS when you dock it.

Nigga, I've built that collection over many many years.

    Local storage > streaming

It apparently didn't solve the issue because there were multiple reasons.

It's reasonable to believe that all Note 7 devices are affected, and will eventually succumb to whatever the defect was, because of Samsung's reaction here i.e. initiating a full recall.

Actually, they released the report about two weeks ago. The design of the phone itself was the key issue. Basically, the battery was too big, so when it inevitably expanded from use the separator between electrodes would weaken and cause a short circuit. That's why the replacement batteries also failed.

not so much the battery was too big...more like they made a battery that was optimally sized for its output THEN made it too small in order to fit within the confines of the actual phones casing

At this point I'm going to need a single source that says it is normal Windows 10, because Microsoft abandoned Windows for ARM a long time ago. It may support UWP apps but there is 0% chance it's running desktop Windows.

If the battery had been smaller or it's bay larger none of this would have happened. It's the same difference. It's like they realized too late in the design that their users would gripe about horrible battery life and tried to squeeze in a slightly larger one without taking into account their tendency to expand.

I think the more likely scenario is that they didn't think that their batteries would expand enough to cause a problem. I think they overestimated their techniques in producing batteries without the types of flaws that Li-ion batteries tend to have which cause expansion.

This designation is not just semantics either. HP wants you – and their potential customers in industry – to think of the Elite x3 as a Windows tablet that has telephony abilities and the power to run real desktop Windows apps (through HP Workspace, its virtualization service).

Doesn't run Windows apps. Runs UWP apps.

    How's that foot taste?

Buy the most expensive tablet available, and fucking lodge it in your throat, until you are dead. You'll be the only person to ever die that way. It'll be remarkable.

This is literally the biggest blunder of your life and unless you take a full page ad out in the New York Times with a letter of retraction, it will destroy your future.
