The hardest part about building a fence isn't the fence, it's the post holes. They have to be four feet down and only eight inches wide, making them extremely difficult to dig, especially if you're going through root, clay and stones. You need one of these, a post hole digger. Once you get your posts in and the cement poured and dried to anchor them, the rest is easy.
