Yeah maybe it only feels notable to me, but TOTSE was really a first, and the fact that anyone is still around is kind if nuts. Its been its own little floating city in the ocean of the internet for a while now. If nothing else, the fact that so many weirdos and outcasts and delinquents and anarchists and faggots created our own thing is kinda cool. Id be interested to hear the stories of how peoples lives changed from theboards. Arrests. Relationships. Addictions. Suicide. Kids. Careers, Homelessness. Epiphany.

I was thinking today itd be interesting to see a documentary about the boards or just forums in general, and the types of behaviors that became common. Like a magnet for people with mental health and substance abuse issues, distrust of authority, etc.

Those are all different alkaloids - different psychoactive drugs that give it a different effect. But alcohol... There is no psychoactive other than ethanol.
