I'm not kidding about having cancer. They found it about a month and a half ago, I'm only on my first week of chemo. They wanted to do surgery to cut it out but fuck that. There's this experimental laser thing I signed up for which I'm waiting on an acceptance/denial for. It's pretty scary shit. I'm only 22. I'm just about to finish my first semester back in college too.

That's actually pretty depressing, because I can fully relate. Spectral really could just be a very sad, lonely old man whose life was online, the main, possibly only, people he could really relate to, that gave him some semblance of what he wanted, being in the community.
