Originally posted by gadzooks I used to love dressing up in drag as a kid. I've had zero interest in it since reaching adulthood.

Yeah, kids gotta be protected from all of this. My mom caught me wearing her shoes as a kid and I got in trouble for it, so I stopped the drag queen shit. I still ended up a tranny, so it's not like forbidding kids from doing weird gender non-conforming shit will stop actual trannies from doing something about it when they're old enough to make those kinds of decisions. I wonder if I hadn't been forbidden from it... maybe it wouldn't have developed into the weird psychosexual social thing that it did? Probably would have just ended up where I'm at a whole lot sooner, but maybe not. Who knows?
Also weird that I wore her shoes, and if that was going to lead to some weird psychosexual shit you'd think it'd be a foot fetish but have 0 interest in feet and still find foot fetishes to be entirely perplexing. -

2020-11-08 at 6:44 PM UTC in How many of you think Democrats cheated to win the election? The media spent 4 years campaigning against Trump, which explains pretty much everything including the down ballot voter discrepancies and overwhelming voter turnout. This wasn't an election for many voters, it was a single issue referendum and that single issue was Trump. They made their voices heard.

2020-11-08 at 6:05 PM UTC in Final Solution to the Tranny ProblemAnd of course what I'm really saying, and what my original point was: that there are a lot of trans people who fit the description Aldra gave, and that the only thing that's debatable about what he said was that they are a "majority".

You don't want your dick cut off do you? Maybe you're not a real trans
It is scary and permanent, and a huge deal. Many trans people, even those who would be willing to transition don't have access to treatment due to financial reasons and social/legal reasons in the countries they live. There are a lot of factors at play. I'm not saying you have to have begun transitioning to be trans, just that I'm skeptical of trans people who claim to be non-dysphoric and to have no intention of ever transitioning.
PS: I'd be happy to cut off my dick if the surgical option for doing so was more advanced/less grotesque, but as it is I'm more willing to deal with the discomfort of having a dick attached to me than I am a potentially botched surgery that will necessitate a lifetime of dilation regardless of how the surgery itself goes. It's pretty awful. -

Because demedicalizing transgenderedness means no financial support for medical procedures that trans people may need to live. If literally all it takes to be transgender is saying you're the opposite sex with no intention of transitioning, you can see how this might undermine a transperson who claims that insurance or socialized healthcare systems should cover transitioning expenses.
It's the difference between "this is a potentially life saving treatment for trans people who are dealing with gender dysphoria" to "this is an elective hormone treatment/surgery that some trans people opt into to enhance their gender euphoria". If I lived in a world where the latter was the common view point, I'd never have been able to transition and probably would have killed myself already.

"Gender euphoria" apparently. -
2020-11-08 at 5:42 PM UTC in Final Solution to the Tranny ProblemAlthough I'm personally of the mind that having literally any desire to transition indicates some degree of dysphoria, many of these people don't even necessarily want to transition. *shrug*

2020-11-08 at 5:38 PM UTC in Final Solution to the Tranny ProblemWhile I can't speculate as to the quantity of "trannies" who do not display dysphoric symptoms, it's certainly and undeniably a phenomenon in the trans community. In fact, saying that trans people must have dysphoria symptoms as laid out by the DSM guidelines is kind of verboten in trans discourse at the moment. I don't know if they're the majority or just a loud minority to whom people kowtow because not doing do would be decidedly un-woke, but it's a real phenomenon. Transmedicalism is bad, gender dysphoria isn't required to be trans because some people claim they feel "gender euphoria" when they're presenting a certain way, etc.
Combining the existence of this phenomenon with the increased number of people who are now identifying as transgender, it's not unreasonable to suspect that many of those people are in the category of "non-dysphoric". -

Faithless electors cannot save Trump. There have only ever been 156 faithless electors out of 24,748 total electors since 1776. That is 0.7%. In 2016 we had 7. That is about 1%. Five of these were nullified by state laws and either had their vote changed, or the elector replaced with a faithful one thanks to state laws protecting democracy.
The GOP simply does not have enough electors in power to make this a possibility. Any state they could flip wouldn't matter. Trump statistically cannot win. And he has no evidence of voter fraud so all his cases are being denied. AP doesn't just call it because the popular vote gets close. They call it when there is no potential out for the loser.
Again, you're simply spitting Trump propaganda and you don't even know it. I understand our electoral system is confusing to you, but do try to understand it.
Like I said, it's like a 99.99% certainty (which is why the media called it), but it isn't official. No money should change hands until it is. All I'm saying is you should be patient. -

Originally posted by MexicanMasterRace Oh, it has finished developing.
The only reason you're saying this is because Trump is saying this. But not even FOX is saying this.
In fact, nobody who is even remotely credible is saying this anymore. Biden has won. It's done. Don't you think FOX would like to stretch it out and try and rile voters into getting Trump to win? No. They know it's over.
The only reason I'm saying this is that it's true. *shrug*
The results so far aren't final, and because of America's fucked up and backwards electoral process even if they were it wouldn't necessarily determine who is actually elected president. -

2020-11-08 at 12 AM UTC in Election betsBasically it's the election equivalent of a photo finish, and the photo of the finish hasn't finished developing yet - but we're all pretty sure who won.
You still shouldn't expect money for it until that photo finishes developing. *shrug* -

Originally posted by MexicanMasterRace It's not really. There is no possible way for Trump to win. Results ARE final. He's been denied his court cases in all states.
Faithless electors are a possibility, there are recounts planned, there's a lot that could - theoretically - happen still.
There's like a 99.99% guarantee that nothing will happen, but results are most definitely not finalized. -
2020-11-07 at 11:38 PM UTC in Election betsActual election betting sites haven't started making payments yet, so I don't think anyone here should either.
I mean I don't doubt that MMR is going to be deserving a lot of money once the results are finalized, but it's premature to be handing it to him *now*. -
