I have been going to imageboards almost since the beginning. I learned about 4chan through exhentai or some other similar site, I was on the forums and some guy thought I was too much for then so he directed me to 4chan, this was back in 2005 when 4chan was only a year and half old and the first imageboards came out a few years prior. I really fucking miss those days, the culture was so unique then and very different, modern imageboards like 8chan and modern 4chan are a reddit esque hybrid bastardization of chan culture, even the newfags from 2008 and 2011 would look down on them.
Once I get moved and take a good look at the cost and legal work involved in running an imageboard I might start my own and try to recapture the old feeling.
I hate how people talk these days. It's only been 15 years since 2005 and suddenly people are like "man English just wasn't enough we gotta talk like a totally different culture now".
